It’s official, ive gone off the deep end and am now officially hooked on snakes… this is my most recent addition to (what has become) my collection. I lucked out and found a very tame female who looks to be a great pet. Look for more vids soon
The subspecies Python curtus brongersmai was elevated to a full species by Pauwels et al 2000, while Python curtus breitensteini was given species status by Keogh, Barker and Shine 2001.
Ondre200 was the first person that I checked out here on youtube that had a dope vid on blood pythons. All his vids and his wife’s (goldensunshine26) vids made me want to make youtube vids of my herp collections, so thanks for the inspiration you two. So big shout out to you.
Anyway about this vid… I’m broke as a joke and have no cam, so everyone will just have to deal with the slideshow I throw together of a bunch of pix of Murder (I really should change his name cause he is really tame and sweet NOW), but he got his name for a reason, he was a complete psycho (straight murderer) when I first got him… HA tell me.. They call them blood pythons, because of their beautiful color? or is it because they are out for blood?!?! Anyway in some of the pix he is in shed, and Bijou (ball python) just so happened to be in shed at the same time so I thought I take pix of both dulled out snakes, and finally the last few pix are of him in his old set up (ditched it for sterilite).

This is a slideshow of my current snake collection. All of these pictures were taken on the day I clean all of the cages. (before I cleaned them) some are still in their cages, and others are in their holding cages, and the blood python was in the front lawn.

I’m quite relieved that my blood python finally defecated. He couldn’t crap for about five months even though I tried the soak-in-lukewarm-water method that we’ve all heard of. Today, October 20th 2007, I had mixed feelings after seeing what at first seemed like a baby blood python in his tank–happy that Jed finally “shat” out the aged feces, and shocked of the fact that it was nearly half his size. Please watch the entire video which simply tells of Jed’s sad story and asks for some good ol’ advice. Oh, the middle part of this video is a clip that focuses on Jed’s gigantic POO.
