Videos Jampea Reticulated Python

2005 Dwarf Jampea Retic from Mike Wilbanks.

The proposed subspecies dalegibbonsi, euanedwardsi, haydnmacphiei, neilsonnemani, patrickcouperi and stuartbigmorei, as well as the idea of moving the species to the monotypic genus Broghammerus, are rejected by most professional and amateur herpetologists, most, if not all, of these taxa are generally considered nomina dubia.

Taking your blue tongue outside for an hour gives it the same amount of UVB it would have gotten with a UV bulb in a week! Keeping your blue tongue skink by a window will not do anything because glass and Plexiglas block 99 percent of UV, and even just a screen blocks 80 percent.

Juancho Taking a Bath

Today it’s time for Juancho, my red tegu or tupinambis rufescens, to take a bath, and as you can see he likes it ver much. He doesn’t seem to be very confortable with the camera, but in a moment he relax stretching his legs and sleeping in the warm water. He would remain so the whole day, he doesnt like to be taken out from it and he is so lazy that he is not even walking to the towel when I picked him up. And well, that is me. Hope you like it. They will sometimes build burrows and the substrate should be at least six inches deep to facilitate this.
