Pacman frog snatches mouse twice his size
Watch Escobar, my Ornate Horned frog, eat a mouse almost twice his size. Commonly referred to as the Pacman, these frogs eat live food so viewer discretion advised. He consumes the whole thing a few minutes later. The Argentine Horned Frog Ceratophrys ornata, also known as the Argentine wide-mouthed Frog or Pacman frog, is the most common species of Horned Frog, from the rain forests of Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.

Gila Monster – Herping in SE Arizona
Herping in SE Arizona – Aug 07. The relatively slow moving and lethargic Gila Monster spends most of its time in underground burrows. When surface active it tromps with an awkward, lumbering gait. Its total surface activity may add up to just 3 weeks per year. It is diurnal in spring and fall and nocturnal during the hot summer months. During the cold months of winter and late fall it hibernates in an underground shelter. It is not aggressive unless you ask for an autograph. Music by Brassy – Work it Out.
