A juvenile Green Iguana I’m rehabbing. Well fed, well loved, but he wasn’t provided the proper UV lighting source and diet. Now he has the signs of MBD(metabolic bone disease). We are on a recommended 2:1 Calcium Phosphorous diet of greens, veggies and some fruits, all pureed, since he can’t chew. Also providing time in the outdoor enclosure during warm weather for natural sun. He has a good UV light, and proper heat/humidity in his indoor cage.
