In the first second of the video, you can see Taquito shake her tail. She often does this just before pouncing a particularly exciting cricket, I guess.

Herping Garter Snakes & Snake Facts

Found a few garter snakes in November, laid down some artificial cover for next spring and threw up a few interesting facts about snakes in this video.

The properties of the venom is not well known, but it appears to contain 3FTx, commonly known as three-finger toxin, which is a neurotoxin commonly found in the venoms of colubrids and elapids.
