Human construction encroaching upon its habitat is the main cause of endangerment.
My yellow ackie (Varanus acanthurus brachyurus) eats a green anole (Anolis carolinensis). Varanids are such magnificent animals! By the way, this for the people that complained about the leopard gecko and said I should feed anoles instead. I do not see how they are “less” of a lizard, but here it is anyway. Enjoy!
