I grew some seamonkeys, and they got pretty big, so I fed them to squirtle. She quite enjoyed them. When I was going back and forth with a seamonkey, one of them started writhing around and molted right in front of me. it was pretty cool… you can see the little exoskeleton in the water I had them in.
It prefers quiet areas with a basking area, such a large flat rock or a floating log, in full sunlight.

I came across this rather agressive gopher or ‘bull’ snake whilst searching for rattlers in the hills of contra costa county, California. Certainly the most agressive snake I’ve had on film so far, he was blowing a gale!
