Smallish elephant challenges Fatty, a young Nile crocodile, on the shore of Pete’s Pond in Botswana and loses. Fatty refuses to be chased away. As seen on National Geographic’s WildCam Africa.
Dwarf Nile crocodiles also exist in Mali and in the Sahara desert, which reach only 2 to 3 m 6 to 10 ft in length.

There are other venomous snakes within this species range, in fact, that are responsible for more fatal snake bites than the King Cobra, such as the Monocled Cobra, Russells Viper and Banded Krait.
